policy Should school be cancelled in Eastern School
District on the day of you dance class, or prior to it in case of
Saturday, due to inclement weather, please check the Announcement page of our
website, FaceBook page, or Twitter.

Required Dress Code for Classes:
GIRLS:

Pre-Ballet: Pink color leotard (short sleeve) and unattached pink skirt, pink ballet shoes, and pink footed tights or white bobby socks

Ballet I: White (lined) leotard, plain short white skirt unattached Pink leather or canvas ballet slippers. Pink footed tights or white bobby socks.

Ballet II and Int. (9-13yrs.): Light blue leotard, plain short light blue skirt unattached. Pink leather or canvas ballet slippers. Peach pink footed tights.

Int/Advanced Ballet (13+ yrs.): Black leotard, simple style with no criss crossing straps, or cutouts on back. Please do not wear a visible sports bra. Skirts should be all one length around and should be short – about two inches below buttocks. Pink leather or canvas ballet slippers. Peach pink footed tights. Leotards may be short sleeve, cap, or tank.

Jazz: Black long jazz pants (boot leg or slight flare), solid leotard any color. Black leather jazz shoes or black leather ballet shoes. Hair in ponytail completely off face and neck.
Tap: Black low heeled tap shoes, black leotard, and beige tights. Hair needs to be up in a ponytail.
Hair:
- Pre-Ballet: Ponytail, bun, or pigtails completely off face and neck.
- Ballet I, II, III & up: A bun is required: Slick back your hair (with water if needed) into a ponytail. Wrap hair into bun with pins. Secure with sheer hair net and more pins. No stray hairs and minimal bangs.
Please note that hair MUST be in a bun for all ballet classes.
- Hair must be neat and off the face at ALL TIMES.
- No jewelry other than stud earrings permitted in any class.
- Cris cross backs and rhinestones are not permitted in any ballet class.
Please be sure that your child has the proper attire by the first class of the session.
BOYS:

Pre-Ballet and Ballet I: white T-shirt, navy or black cotton shorts. White ankle socks, white ballet slippers with elastic across the instep.

Ballet II and Ballet Int/Adv: White T-shirt black stirrup tights, white ankle socks, and white ballet slippers with elastic across the instep.

Jazz: black or white T- shirt, black jazz pants (but not the wide one), black jazz shoes.
HIP HOP: - Sweatshirts and Baggy T-shirts are acceptable within reason, sweatpants or track pants.
- Clean non-marking running Shoes (or indoor shoes).
- Cloth wrist bands are acceptable for Hip Hop only.
- No Jeans or Jean shorts.
Summer Combo Classes: - For Ballet Jazz combo need pink leotard, pink skirt, white bobby socks, ballet slippers and jazz black pants. For boys white tee-shirt, navy or black shorts, black jazz pants, white socks, ballet slippers.
- For Hip-Hop\Jazz combo-any solid color t shirt (no words), Hip-Hop or black jazz pants, tennis shoes. Hair in ponytail.
